As New Deal’s Communications Manager, Josh brings extensive experience in campaign strategy, political communications, and policy development. Most recently serving as PAC Manager at J Street, Josh is no stranger to complex issues. 

Josh has been a trusted advisor and educator for more than 200 congressional candidates and Members of Congress, helping them to navigate the rapidly evolving Israeli-Palestinian conflict and its political ramifications. He is a skillful relationship manager who has facilitated meaningful connections for candidates and staff with reporters, donors, and partner organizations around the country. Josh has also drafted and edited countless position papers, helping candidates find their voices.

Josh has worked with marquee Senate campaigns, House primary challengers and swing seat candidates, and many others. He previously worked for Rep. Matt Cartwright, then-House-candidate (now Senator!) Jon Ossoff, and Dr. Al Gross’ campaign for Senate.

Josh holds a bachelor’s degree in American Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
